Privacy Notice
Effective September 9, 2026
This notice describes the current Apex8Pi controlled-beta privacy design. Product behavior may be refined before public release; material changes will be reflected here.
Information Apex8Pi processes
Apex8Pi processes information users choose to provide, such as account details, preferences, prompts, recordings submitted for transcription, connected-calendar events, and optional structured memories. The exact information depends on the features a user activates.
How information is used
Information is used to provide requested features, authenticate accounts, enforce licenses and roles, operate and secure the service, troubleshoot sanitized technical failures, and respond to support requests. Apex8Pi does not sell personal information or private content and does not use private content for targeted advertising.
Local storage and cloud boundaries
Raw conversation history is encrypted locally by default using device-protected keys. Raw conversation cloud synchronization is not implemented in the current beta. Connected Microsoft and Google calendar copies are encrypted in device-local caches; the calendar provider remains the source of truth. Structured-memory synchronization, where offered, requires explicit opt-in.
Connected services and AI
Apex8Pi may transmit user-approved request content to configured service providers when necessary to perform a requested feature, including AI or speech processing. Users are shown the applicable sharing context before supported requests. Provider processing is also governed by the provider's terms and privacy commitments.
Security
Apex8Pi uses encrypted transport for hosted communication, role-based authorization, encrypted local storage for protected information, and sanitized operational error logging. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Choices and deletion
Users can choose whether to connect supported services, manage preferences, and request deletion of supported synchronized memories or account data. Provider-hosted calendar and mailbox information must also be managed with the applicable provider.
Children, healthcare, and emergencies
The controlled beta is not directed to children without appropriate authorization. Apex8Pi is not an emergency service and does not automatically dispatch emergency responders. Healthcare-related features are not a substitute for licensed medical care.
